What’s in the line
What products does AgLoc offer?
Four core coatings: DryLock for concrete, BCX clear sealer for high-traffic floors, DURAPAVE for asphalt, and HRX Roof Protector for roofs. We carry more on the back end for special jobs, so ask if your surface is not covered here.
What is the best concrete sealer for a dairy barn?
A penetrating hardener and sealer like DryLock. Topical sealers and epoxies sit on the surface where hooves, scrapers and manure acids wear them off. A penetrating sealer reacts inside the concrete, so there is nothing to peel.
Which product should I start with?
For most farms it is DryLock. It hardens and seals concrete floors, alleys, pens and pads. If you have asphalt lanes or yards, DURAPAVE is the other core product.
What makes AgLoc different from other coatings?
We took the industry’s best coatings and made them better with an advanced formula built for the dairy industry. They soak in instead of sitting on top, so there is no film to peel or wear off.
Where on the farm can I use it?
Anywhere with concrete, asphalt or a roof: barns, parlors, feed alleys, holding pens, feedlots, feed and commodity storage, silage bunkers, wash bays, shops, roads and drives.

Cure Time & Downtime
Keeping the operation running
How fast is the surface back in service?
DryLock floors are usable the very next day. Fast-cure systems take traffic in about 30 minutes when you cannot afford any downtime.
How long until a full cure?
DryLock reaches full cure in 7 days. A conventional coating system typically needs around 30.
How long does concrete sealer take to cure on a farm?
Most conventional farm coatings need 7 to 30 days before they reach full strength. DryLock is usable the next day and fully cured in 7, and fast-cure systems take traffic in about 30 minutes.
Can I coat a parlor or barn floor without shutting down?
Yes. Work in sections, and use a fast-cure system where a lane or pen cannot be out of use for long. Most operations never stop milking or feeding.
Do animals have to be moved out?
Only from the section being coated, and only briefly. Most jobs are done in stages so the rest of the operation keeps running.
03
Install
Do it yourself, or let us
Can I install it myself?
Yes. AgLoc is designed to be a DIY product. Every coating is single-component and goes on with a standard sprayer or roller, so your own crew can do it.
Do I need to grind or acid etch the concrete?
No grinding and no acid etching. Prep is cleaning the surface so the coating can penetrate.
What equipment do I need to apply it?
A standard pump sprayer or a roller, plus whatever you normally use to clean the floor. There is no mixing, grinding or special equipment.
Is coating better than concrete grooving?
They solve different problems. Grooving cuts new traction into a worn floor but leaves the concrete open to moisture and acids. Coating hardens and seals the surface. On badly worn floors the two work well together.
Can your crew install it for us?
Yes. If you would rather not use your own labor, our crew will handle the job start to finish.
How much area does a gallon cover?
It depends on the product and surface. As a guide: BCX 200 to 300 sq ft per gallon, DURAPAVE 300 to 500, HRX 100 to 200. We will help you estimate before you order.
04
Safety
Around animals, feed and milk
Is it safe around livestock?
Yes. The coatings are water-based and PFAS chemical-free, so there is no contamination concern around feed, milk or animals.
Is DURAPAVE petroleum-based?
No. Unlike most asphalt sealers, DURAPAVE contains no petroleum, which makes it safer around animals.
What concrete sealer is safe for livestock?
Look for a water-based, PFAS chemical-free product with no petroleum or solvents. Every AgLoc coating meets that bar, so it can be used in barns, parlors and feed areas.
How do I make a slippery barn floor less slippery?
Start by restoring the surface. Worn, polished concrete loses grip, so harden and seal it with a penetrating product, and groove the worst areas if needed. Avoid glossy topical coatings, which can make footing worse.
Does it improve footing?
DryLock hardens the surface without leaving a slick film, and it can be paired with grooving on badly worn floors to restore traction.

Farm Concrete & Asphalt Care
Keeping surfaces in shape
Why does concrete break down in a dairy barn?
Manure and silage acids, constant moisture, wash water, freeze-thaw cycles and scraper traffic all eat at the surface. Once the top layer goes, the floor gets rough, then slick, and starts to scale.
How do I protect concrete from manure and silage acid?
Seal it. A penetrating sealer hardens the concrete and closes the pores, so acids and moisture have less to work on. Bunkers, feed alleys and manure lanes benefit most.
How do I repair worn concrete in a feed alley?
If the slab is sound, clean it and apply a penetrating hardener like DryLock to stop further wear. Badly worn sections can be grooved for traction first. Replacement is only needed when the slab itself has failed.
How often should farm concrete be sealed?
It depends on traffic and exposure. High-wear areas like parlors and feed alleys should be checked yearly. A penetrating sealer lasts far longer than a topical one because there is no film to wear through.
What is the best sealer for farm asphalt?
A water-based, non-petroleum sealer like DURAPAVE. It slows oxidation, UV damage and water intrusion without putting petroleum products where animals walk.
Can I coat a leaking barn roof instead of replacing it?
Often, yes. If the roof deck is sound, a spray-applied coating like HRX can seal leaks and protect the surface for years at a fraction of the cost of a new roof.
